Do Not wear your PJ's to a club.

How sexy is this outfit? It's sexy right.. LOL. Usually the people who make it onto my site are dressed like whores but I guess today is opposite day. So this lovely lady decided she didn't want to put any effort whats so ever into her outfit and just went in her Pajama's... You know maybe this isn't such a horrible idea. A lot of times I come home from a club too drunk and lazy to get changed and end up falling asleep in my club clothes. This girl doesn't need to worry about that. She can go right from the club to bed. Good thinking PJ girl.... Kidding. This is a horrible awful dreadful outfit. I really wouldn't even wear this to bed.. Why! Why on earth would u choose this to wear, to a club????!! You are NOT at home watching TV, you are NOT making a quick run to the corner store, your not lounging at a friends house, YOU ARE AT A CLUB. I shouldn't be too hard on her tho. I'm pretty sure this is her first time at a club. She walked in wearing this, and noticed every other person there was dressed in non-PJ clothes. She quickly realized her embarrassing mistake so decided to conceal her identity with a mask. That's a pretty good idea too. If you're embarrassed about your outfit, just wear a mask. No one will recognise you, You can pole dance the night away, Problem solved.

My advice to PJ girl: Put some effort into your outfit when going to a club. Then you wont have to wear a mask all night. If it's your first time going to a club and you don't exactly have a wardrobe full of club clothes, jeans and a fitted shirt will work just fine. If club clothes just aren't your style and your style is more "punk". Wear the T-shirt but please lose the pajama pants and throw on some jeans instead. Also, Never wear winter boots to a club..Ever.

Today's fashion Advice: Wear Clothes that fit you.How shocking is this? Are you shocked? I am. What on earth was this girl thinking. Does she own a mirror? Her shirt doesn't fit! I've said it before and I will say it again: If you are a size Large, buy a Large, do Not buy a small. There is no shame in buying a Large...Or XL. or whatever size you are. As long as your shirt fits you and covers you, it's all good. Why isn't this girl aware that this is Not how a tube-top is suppose to look. Oh gawd, this is just so ridiculous i barely have words for it. If this girl was my friend and she wore this out in public with me, I could no longer be friends with her after that. Even if I've known her my whole life.That's how severe this outfit is. Unless, she's really really beyond drunk and her tube top just slid down and she didn't notice. That might make it ok, but I don't think that's the situation. So lets pretend her tube-top fits, Never ever wear a bra with straps with a tube-top, especially one that's a different colour. Why would you do that? You have to wear a strapless bra. Geeze, everyone knows that. I know they can be kinda uncomfortable but that's too bad, deal with it. And please make sure your bra straps are even. This girl has one boob pushed up and the other is not. Because one strap is pulled tight, the other is not. And this will make you look deformed. Which is probably not the sexy look you were hoping for. And I have to say something about the fake Chanel necklace. DONT wear fakes!! It's sooooo faux-fabulous. So I found a picture of what a tube top is suppose to look like, incase there's anyone else out there who's confused.

This girl is about the same size, she's busty as well..But look at that! She found a tube-top that fits her. Notice how she looks classy and pretty and not like a giant Skanky whore. So try the shirt on before buying it. If it doesn't fit and it doesn't cover your boobs at all please don't buy it. Get a size that fits. Thats what shopping is about, trying stuff on, seeing what fits good. It's not hard.

Spring is Here!!..Time to go Shopping!!

COLOUR!!!!

Spring weather always makes me want to go shopping. Also because I'm single now, I've been back to the club scene, which means I need a new outfit every weekend. The Biggest tread I'm seeing in stores for Spring is colour!!! Mixing and matching colour is the biggest trend right now. You'll see alot of bright blues, red, pink, light purple and yellow in every store. Don't be matchy with the colours though. Take a Bright blue dress and match it with yellow heels and a yellow purse. Or even better, if you're really brave match your blue dress with yellow shoes and a bright green bag. Its all about LOTSA LOTSA colour!!! I'll show you what I mean.. I took a couple snap shots of the 2 outfits I bought today to show you what I mean about colour.

Because I've been needing a new outfit every week to go out with my girl friends I don't want to spend alot but I still want to look fashionable and stylish. So I bought this bright blue dress from Urban Behaviour for $30.00. The shoes were $50 from Spring, the bag was on sale from The Bay for $25.00 and the earrings were on sale for $6.99 from Le Chateau. Just over $100 for the whole outfit isn't that bad. Considering I'll get alot of use out of the shoes and purse. I know the dress looks alittle frumpy but it actually fits really really well and it comes to my knee so I can wear it as a dress or with pants... But not with tights, those are one thing that is NOT in for spring. So say buh-bye to your tights.

Yellow is defiantly my favourite colour for spring. I absolutely looove how red looks with yellow. I don't know why my shoes look dark red in this pic, they're actually a bit brighter. And the brighter your red shoes,the better! I also have some red earrings I forgot to include in the pic. Now for spring you don't even have to be this matchy. You can wear a bright purple bag, red shoes, yellow shirt. Just as long as it's all bright colours. Don't mix bright colours with colours that are too dark, unless it's your pants... Kinda like Laundry. So the bright yellow top is from Buffalo and it was $50.00 but it's very thick material and you can tell it's great quality. The shoes were only $20!! from Spring and the purse was $40 from Aldo. You can pair this with a great pair of skinny jeans, light or dark.

Some other things that are big for spring that you're going to see in every store is: white jeans and white pants. My friend Benita just bought a cute pair of white jeans, paired with a light purple top, silver shoes and silver purse. It looks stunning!! ..Black and white prints are everywhere! Gold sandals, plaid shorts ( Guess has some amazing ones!), and high waisted shorts. My friend Rikki wore her high waisted shorts with a button up short sleeve dress shirt and heels and it looked amazing!! I never know what to wear with high waisted so now I know a dress shirt, tucked in, looks great.

So when you're out, shopping for spring clothes remember.. Lots of colour!! Stay away from all black, or dark colours and stock up on bright bold colours and mix them together!!

I'm Back!!

I haven't written a blog in like a month!! March has been a crazy month for me. Me and my boyfriend of 4 years broke up and he moved out. So I didn't feel like writing for a couple weeks. Then my computer crashed and is completely broken. So I just got a substitute computer..Anyways enough about my problems, lets look at other peoples problems.

BARF!!! No seriously, this is f'in disgusting. There's no other word for it then Disgusting...And kinda sad. The really gross thing is, is this was taken at 77...Again on All Ages Night! I like getting my pics from All ages night cause I Always find horrible outfits.. Anyways, these lil'hookers are in highschool! what kind of cracked out parents let there children go out like this?? I'm willing to bet these girls are from a single parent home where the mother works night shift.. So I dont think wearing a belly bearing shirt is the best idea, unless maybe you've been hitting the gym 6 days a week and have a nice toned mid-section..Which is not the case here. I blanked out the guy in the middle (we'll call him Pimp) because I am embarrassed for him. I know he thinks he's cool with not one, but 2 hookers. And maybe they work for him, I dunno. But I still cant help but feel embarrassed for him. These are just like the girls you see on Maury! You know the episodes with the out of control teens, that want to have babies with random people so they can collect welfare and hook on the side. Anyways usually I write some advice for our fashion victims but I feel there is no helping these girls. They need some Dr.Phil type help. I'm sure these 2 will be working at Maxim's strip club downtown in a couple years. Good luck with that, girlys.

Sorry I've been Away

I've been so busy this week. Castings for Toronto Fashion week have been taking place last week and this week, so I haven't had time for blogging... But I have a hideous pic to post tomorrow! Almost, as bad as this one. Well not really, but it's still pretty terrible.

Don't Wear This!!

You know that rule, don't wear white after labor day? Well that's stupid, of course you can wear white after labor day. But never ever under any circumstance (unless your getting married) should you wear head to toe white. Wanna know why? Because you will look like a giant tampon. Sorry to be gross but that's what she looks like. Look at this girl. White shirt, white pants, white shoes. Blah, it's so boring! Just looking at her is making me yawn. Not to mention that Guess tube top looks like one of the old styles from the 90s. Well there's nothing wrong with Vintage. I love white shoes. She could have possibly wore this tube top with the white shoes, even though I hate running shoes at the club. But paired it with some Jeans, light or dark, either would look better then this. And again with the no purse! Ladies how do you go out without a purse? HOW?! I guess she didn't have a white purse to go with her casper-ish outfit.
My advice to tampon girl would be this: If you must wear head to toe white throw on some accessories that have colour. A brown belt, some bracelets and a necklace that have color. Or better yet, just don't wear this much white. It looks stupid.





No Pants Princess


Nothing makes me more mad then when girls wear shirts with no pants on. I know it can be a bit confusing with all the long shirts out today. You pick an item off the rack and stare at it wondering if it's a shirt or dress. This has happened to me, but when in doubt wear it with pants. Or even ask the sales person if it's a shirt or dress. There's no shame in that. But there is shame in leaving your house without your pants on. If the clothing item in question ends just below your butt, it is definitely, no questions needed to be asked, a Shirt! And when wearing a shirt it is usually a very good idea to wear pants. If it almost comes to your knees you should ask the sales person if it is in fact a shirt. How do you just go out without any bottoms on? I would be beyond embarrassed to leave my house in this. Can you imagine how uncomfortable it would be, you'd be constantly tugging it down so you don't completely expose yourself. You're at a club, there's nothing wrong with showing some skin. But you don't want to look like a skanky slut who doesn't wear pants. So my advice to this Pantless Princess would be: Put on pants. That's it, just put on some pants. Even a skirt. Some kind of bottoms. You can't just walk around in just a shirt, it's disgusting and looking at you makes me feel embarrassed for you, and your friends. And also, the only time it's ok to wear a tiara is if you're actually a princess, or if it's prom.

Beauty Tip Tuesday

I haven't written a blog in a few days, I've been busy..Usually I'm not. Today I'm going to talk about the importance of Mascara. If there's just one thing you apply in the morning, let it be Mascara...And lip gloss so make it 2 things. Mascara will open your eyes up making them look bigger and make you look more awake and alive. I hate seeing females without any mascara on. It's kinda gross. No offence, that's just my opinion. Now there's tons of different Mascaras out there so which one's the best? Well I don't know, but I know which ones I think are the best. Like most people I have tried a million trillion different types of mascaras in my life. Every time one comes out that claims to make my lashes 10 times fuller and 30% longer I rush to buy it. And usually I'm disappointed. Well I have a few favourites that didn't disappoint me.

For a Drugstore brand: I don't usually like Drug store makeup because it doesn't last as long and the quality isn't usually very good. But out of the drugstore brands that's my favourite is Revlon 3D extreme. I think that's the one with Jessica Alba in the commercial. XXL by maybelline is a good one too. And makup artist swear by Great Lash by Maybelline. You know that one in the pink and green container that's been around forever. I don't like it that much but it's a favourite to a lot of top makeup artist. Also, the mascara that Drew Barrymore is the spokes person for, Lash Blast, I think it's called. That seems like a good one, because I noticed when I was at Shoppers yesterday they were sold out of it. So I might give it a try. Most decent drugstore brands cost between $10-15. If you're going to buy drug store mascara, any of those brands are pretty good.

Bad Gal Lash by Benefit is one of my very favourites. I use to only be able to get it at Sephora but most Shoppers Drugmarts just started carrying it. The brush is pretty intimidating at first because it's as thick as my thumb. You want me to put that near my eye, I thought the first time I used it. But I got use to it. And it really makes your lashes super thick and long and really stand out. It cost about $30. It seems to last longer then most mascaras. I had mine for 4 months before it stopped working wonders.

Dior Show by Christian Dior. This one I bought recently and it's really amazing. It is probably my very favourite mascara I've ever had. It's the same mascara they use for all the Dior fashion shows and ad campaigns . It strengthens your lash and makes them separate, long and lushous. It's about $40 but it's definitely worth it!
